As a biotechnologist and molecular biologist, she is currently pursuing her PhD at the Westerdijk Institute (NL), where she explores the ecology of marine fungi within a circular economy framework to develop alternative proteins from algae. While her current focus is on scientific research, she envisions the integration of artistic elements in her scientific work to explore and share the complexity of natural systems. Her work aims to inspire awareness of sustainable practices and emphasize the interconnectedness of marine ecosystems in a sustainable future. Westerdijk Fungal Biodiversity Institute, where she is a PhD candidate in the Fungal Physiology group.
